The Brandyn Foster Case Study

A four-hour case study presentation built from a 371-day homicide investigation that began as a missing person case and closed with the recovery of the victim and the arrest of three people. Taught from the case file by the lead investigator.

Attendees walk the case from the first report through the dead ends, the digital counter-surveillance the suspect deployed, the outside-the-box search warrants that broke it open (swamping, IMEI, Title III, sneak-and-peek), and the federal coordination that contributed to Google's introduction of the Tombstone Report. Attendees leave with search warrant templates and investigative guides developed from this case, accessible via QR code.

All ASC courses are delivered on-site at your agency, institution, or organization. Joseph travels to your location with the full curriculum, scenario assets, and any role players the course requires. Hybrid and remote options are available for select courses on request. Five-day immersive formats (The Academy) require on-site delivery to support live scenario practice.
Pricing is per attendee, scaled by course length and sector. There is no hybrid pricing model. Discounts are available for host agencies. Full per-course pricing is published at /pricing, and a detailed proposal is generated for every confirmed engagement.
Law enforcement courses are designed to align with state POST credit requirements and are routinely accepted for credit when the hosting agency submits the curriculum. Strategic Workplace Interviewing is calibrated for SHRM and HRCI credentialing pursuit. Strategic Legal Interviews is calibrated for CLE submission. Final credit assignment is determined by the relevant credentialing body in each state.
Most ASC courses are designed for groups of 12 to 30 attendees. Smaller cohorts can be accommodated with a host-agency arrangement, and larger groups can be split across consecutive cohorts. The Academy (5-day immersive) is capped at 24 attendees to preserve scenario quality.
Yes. Every engagement includes a scoping call to calibrate scenarios, examples, and case studies to your jurisdiction, sector, and operational reality. Custom scenarios, agency-specific policies, and post-course coaching add-ons are all available. Briefings for command staff and prosecutors can also be bolted on.
