Published Per-Attendee Tuition
Most training vendors hide pricing to force a sales conversation. ASC publishes per-attendee tuition for every standard catalog course, plus the structure of group and host pricing. Confirm fit, brief your budget owner, and decide whether it's worth a call before you make one.
Real numbers. Before the sales call.
Published per-attendee tuition·Three delivery formats·Quote in 1 business day
Procurement teams, training officers, and grant administrators usually have one question before they pick up the phone. "What is this going to cost?" The vendors who refuse to answer that question waste everyone's time.
ASC publishes one per-attendee tuition rate for every standard catalog course. The rate is the same whether you register individually, host an open-enrollment course at your facility, or close a course to your team only. What changes between formats is (1) whether your organization earns complimentary seats and (2) how instructor travel is handled. Open Enrollment Host engagements absorb travel into the per-seat rate because the room fills with regional attendees. Closed Course and Custom Engagement formats add instructor travel and lodging on top of tuition, because the host is the sole economic base for the delivery.
Per-person minimums apply only to Open Enrollment Host. They exist to protect the economics of a per-seat class, not to gate any organization by size. An agency, firm, school, or organization that prefers a closed room is simply contracted as a Closed Course or Custom Engagement; the choice is yours.
A real number, before you spend an hour on a call.
Per-attendee tuition for every standard catalog course. The same rate applies whether an attendee registers individually, the course is hosted by your organization for regional attendees, or the room is closed to your team only. Precision Search Warrants is priced separately as an advanced specialty course. The Academy starts at $1,295 per attendee and is custom-quoted from that anchor. Tuition includes course materials, workbooks, and credit-hour documentation.
A typical 20-attendee Academy engagement anchors at $25,900 all-in (20 × $1,295), delivered Closed Course over five days on-site at your agency. For engagements in the lower 48 states, instructor travel and lodging are included in the per-attendee tuition; nothing is billed separately. Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, and international engagements are quoted with travel scoped to the destination. Train-the-trainer, sustainment, or executive-leader debrief options scope from this anchor. The Academy is delivered only as a Closed Course or Custom Engagement; it is not offered as Open Enrollment.
ASC's signature specialty course for law enforcement. Covers warrant drafting, particularity, staleness, scope, and the language that survives Franks and suppression challenges. No comparable course is taught anywhere else.
All tuition listed per attendee. Open enrollment and host-led cohorts pay the same rate. Materials and credit-hour documentation included.

On behalf of the New York State Police, I would like to thank you for participating in our 35th annual Henry F. Williams Homicide Seminar. Your invaluable insight and expertise was greatly appreciated by this year's attendees, and your ability to convey a vast amount of information, knowledge, and experience assisted us in attaining our goal.
Lt. Col. James E. BarnesAssistant Deputy Superintendent · New York State Police
There was an overwhelmingly positive response from the Investigators and Officers in attendance, and I thought it was an extremely valuable training. One of our Investigators did such a good job on a recent interview that I gathered the whole office, and we watched it as a group. I think the two-day format was ideal for us. I think you were the right person to deliver the right message.

Today marked my first day back on the job following your training, and I had the opportunity to implement your method during an interview with a victim. Armed with the techniques I learned from you, I was able to facilitate a detailed narrative. The success of this [interview] left both myself and my partner in disbelief at how smoothly everything unfolded.

Any agency, firm, school, or organization, any size, can select any of these three formats. The format you choose determines the pricing logic and what host benefits come with the engagement. Open Enrollment Host absorbs instructor travel into the per-seat rate because regional attendees fill the room. Closed Course and Custom Engagement add reasonable travel and lodging on top, because the host is the sole economic base for the delivery.
You choose to open the class to attendees from outside your organization. Doing so makes you a Host Agency or Host Organization and unlocks the comp-seat ladder below. ASC sets a per-seat tuition rate at the published price above and manages registration, payment processing, and instructor travel. The host earns complimentary seats as the room fills.
Minimum paid registrations: 10 for a 1-day course, 12 for a 2-day course, 15 for a 3-day course. If paid registrations fall below the applicable minimum at the 21-day pre-course mark, the host may convert to a Closed Course or Custom Engagement, extend the registration deadline by mutual written agreement, or reschedule without penalty.
Best for: agencies, firms, schools, and organizations that want to open the room to outside attendees, build regional training reach, and earn complimentary seats as the host.
You choose to keep the class closed to your own team. No external registrants. Pricing is a flat instructional fee structured per the agreement, with reasonable travel and lodging quoted separately on top. Group size, content scope, and dates are set in the contract.
No per-person minimum applies. Closed Course engagements forgo the host comp-seat ladder because they are not per-seat structures, in exchange for full control of audience and curriculum.
Best for: agencies, firms, schools, and organizations that want a closed delivery for their own team, full curriculum customization, or are working with sensitive case material that should not be discussed in a regional audience.
Reserved for two specific scenarios: (1) an agency, firm, school, or organization that wants to host but cannot reach the Open Enrollment minimum, or (2) a host-specific engagement that bundles two or more courses, or custom content, into a single delivery. Priced based on content, length, and roster. Travel quoted separately.
Best for: agencies, firms, schools, and organizations whose training need does not match a standard catalog course or whose roster sits below open-host minimums.
The comp-seat ladder applies only to Open Enrollment Host. It rewards agencies, firms, schools, and organizations that bring ASC training into their facility and help fill the room with attendees from surrounding jurisdictions or peer institutions.
Comp seats may be assigned to any participant from your agency or organization. One optional partner-agency or counsel seat (prosecutor's office for law enforcement hosts; in-house counsel or partner-agency lead for HR, education, or private-sector hosts) and any command observation seats are available at no charge and do not count against this ladder. Comp seats do not roll over.
Full Host Agency Detail →Train one of your team on the house. The first comp seat is awarded when the course reaches viability.
Train a second when you fill half a typical course from your regional network.
Train three when you anchor a full-room regional engagement. 1-free-per-10-paid continues from there.
Plus: one optional partner-agency or counsel seat (prosecutor's office, in-house counsel, or partner-agency lead). Plus: command observation seats for your chief or supervisors. All at no charge, separate from this ladder.
Per-person minimums apply only to Open Enrollment Host: 10 for a 1-day course, 12 for a 2-day course, 15 for a 3-day course. Below minimum at the 21-day mark, convert to a Closed Course or Custom Engagement, extend the deadline, or reschedule without penalty.
No upsells after enrollment. No "materials fee," no certificate fee, no credit-hour fee. Tuition is the rate.
Full course taught in-person by Joseph R. Auriemma, Jr. Two- and three-day formats include the deeper scenario rotations that the one-day cannot fit.
Every attendee receives the printed workbook, ASC reference cards for the techniques covered, and any case-specific handouts tied to the course.
Upon a signed engagement, ASC files to apply for POST, MPTC, MCOLES, TCOLE, CLEET, or equivalent training-commission credit hours in the host agency’s state; approval rests with that credentialing body. Reciprocal-credit documentation provided for out-of-state attendees.
Every attendee leaves with a personalized certificate of completion, suitable for personnel-file submission, promotional consideration, or reciprocal-credit packets.
In-class Q&A is unlimited. Attendees may email Joe directly with technique questions for 30 days following the course. Case-specific consultation, expert review, or trial preparation work is available separately through ASC's consulting practice.
For host-led cohorts (agency, firm, school, or organization), ASC handles enrollment confirmation, attendee-list management, credit-hour submission, and post-training certificates. You provide the room.
ASC works regularly with grant-funded training budgets, including VOCA, OVW, JAG, COPS, and state Title IX programs. We provide the documentation, line-item invoicing, and compliance attestations your grant administrator needs.

ASC delivers training in three formats. Open Enrollment Host uses a published per-attendee rate: $345 (1-day), $525 (2-day), $725 (3-day). The signature specialty Precision Search Warrants course is $595 (2-day) and $795 (3-day). The Academy starts at $1,295 per attendee and is custom-quoted from that anchor based on group size and case-mix; for Academy engagements in the lower 48 states, instructor travel and lodging are included in the per-attendee tuition. Closed Course engagements (other than The Academy) use a flat instructional fee plus reasonable travel and lodging quoted separately. Custom Engagement is custom-priced for sub-minimum hosting or bundled or non-standard scope. The Academy is delivered only as a Closed Course or Custom Engagement.
Rates listed on this page are effective through the current fiscal year. ASC reviews tuition annually each January. Quotes issued by ASC lock the rate for the engagement covered by the quote, regardless of subsequent rate adjustments.
Curriculum delivery, attendee workbooks and reference cards, POST/MPTC/MCOLES/TCOLE credit-hour submission, certificate of completion, in-class Q&A, and follow-on technique questions to the instructor in the weeks after the course. For Open Enrollment, instructor travel is incorporated into the engagement. For The Academy delivered in the lower 48 states, instructor travel and lodging are included in the per-attendee tuition. For other Closed or Custom engagements, reasonable travel and lodging are quoted alongside the flat instructional fee.
For Open Enrollment Host engagements, yes: instructor travel and lodging are absorbed into the per-attendee tuition rate because regional attendees fill the room. For Closed Course and Custom Engagement formats, travel and lodging are quoted separately on top of tuition, because the agency is the sole economic base for the delivery. The travel quote is itemized in the written proposal and is invoiced at actual cost with no markup.
It is a choice the agency makes, not a function of agency size. Any agency can select any of the three. Open Enrollment Host opens the class to outside attendees, uses a per-seat tuition rate with per-person minimums (10 paid for a 1-day, 12 for a 2-day, 15 for a 3-day), absorbs instructor travel into the per-seat rate, and earns the host agency complimentary seats on a graduated ladder. Closed Course keeps the class closed to your own team at a flat instructional fee plus reasonable travel and lodging quoted separately, with no per-person minimum. Custom Engagement is custom-priced, used when an agency cannot reach the Open Enrollment minimum or bundles multiple courses or non-standard content into one delivery.
For Open Enrollment Host engagements only, the host earns complimentary seats on a graduated ladder: 1 free at 10 paid, 2 free at 20 paid, 3 free at 30 paid. The 1-free-per-10-paid ratio continues above 30 paid registrations. Comp seats may be assigned to any participant from your agency, firm, school, or organization. One optional partner-agency or counsel seat (prosecutor's office for law enforcement hosts; in-house counsel or partner-agency lead for HR, education, or private-sector hosts) and any command observation seats are available at no charge and do not count against this ladder. Closed Course and Custom Engagement do not earn comp seats because they are not per-seat structures.
Any time the host chooses a Closed Course or Custom Engagement, meaning the class is closed to that host's own team and not opened to outside registration. The flat instructional fee is structured per the agreement, with reasonable travel and lodging on top. No per-person minimum applies. Agencies, firms, schools, and organizations of any size can choose this path: large agencies that want a focused team training, law firms running a deposition-prep cohort, school or university Title IX units that need sensitive case material kept in the room, multi-agency task forces operating under a single roof, sports front offices, or any host that prefers a closed delivery. The per-person minimums on Open Enrollment exist to protect the economics of a per-seat class, not to gate any organization by size.
10 paid registrations for a 1-day course, 12 paid for a 2-day, 15 paid for a 3-day. Host comp seats are not counted toward the minimum. If fill is short at the 21-day mark, the engagement can extend the deadline by mutual written agreement, convert to a Closed Course or Custom Engagement, or reschedule without penalty. Per-person minimums apply only to Open Enrollment Host because they exist to protect the economics of a per-seat class; Closed Course and Custom Engagement have no per-person minimum.
Yes. ASC works regularly with VOCA, OVW, JAG, COPS, state Title IX, and other federal and state grant programs. We provide the documentation, line-item invoicing, and compliance attestations your grant administrator needs.
Full cancellation, transfer, rescheduling, and refund terms are spelled out in the Refund Policy. The 5-day Academy starts at $1,295 per attendee and is custom-quoted from that anchor based on group size and case-mix. For engagements in the lower 48 states, instructor travel and lodging are included in the per-attendee tuition; nothing is billed separately. Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, and international engagements are quoted with travel scoped to the destination. The Academy is delivered as a Closed Course or Custom Engagement, scoped per the agreement after a short call to align on your group size, case mix, and the level of train-the-trainer or sustainment work attached.
