Clear, fair terms for open-enrollment training course cancellations, transfers, and substitutions. This policy applies to public training courses; consulting engagements are governed by the terms of the executed engagement letter.
All cancellation and transfer requests are calculated from the published course start date. Transfer credit, where available, may be applied to any future ASC course within the validity window stated below.
Full refund less a $50 administrative processing fee, or 100% transfer credit toward any future ASC course (valid 12 months from the original enrollment date), at the registrant's choice.
50% refund of fees paid, or 100% transfer credit toward any future ASC course, at the registrant's choice.
Refunds are not available within 14 days of the course start date. 50% transfer credit may be issued in lieu of a refund, and a substitute attendee from the same agency or paying entity is permitted at no additional cost.
Substituting another attendee for a registered seat is permitted at no charge at any time, including the day of the course, provided the substitute is from the same agency or paying entity.
Failure to attend a registered course without prior written notice forfeits all fees paid. No refund or transfer credit will be issued.
In the event ASC cancels a course (insufficient registration, instructor emergency, force majeure, or similar), registrants will receive a 100% refund of fees paid, or priority registration in the next scheduled offering of the same course, at the registrant's choice. ASC is not responsible for travel, lodging, or other expenses incurred in connection with a cancelled course.
Cancellation, transfer, and substitution requests must be submitted in writing to ensure clear documentation of the request date.
Refund processing typically takes 7–10 business days from the date the request is acknowledged. Transfer credits are issued by email and are non-transferable to third parties.

ASC reserves the right to update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page and apply only to enrollments completed after the effective date of the change.
